World AIDS Day 01/12/20

December starts with World AIDS Day on the 1st. Founded long before Pandemic and Virus were everyday language, World AIDS Day was the first ever global health awareness day. With over 100,000 people in the UK managing HIV / AIDs right now and over 4000 more diagnosed each year it remains one of humanity’s most destructive Pandemics. Build awareness of this Virus, its prevention and care strategies and help remove the stigma associated by starting conversations with these books.

International Day of People with Disabilities 03/12/20

The WHO estimates 15% of the world’s population – or over 1 billion people, are living with disability. These books offer empathy and insight to those of us who are not living with disability and recognition and a voice to those of us who are.

Human Rights Day 10/12/20

On December 10th the world observes Human Rights Day. Highlighting the continuing push for equality, the date coincides with the adoption of  the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. Invite discussion about the importance of every human’s rights and inspire transformative action with some of these titles.
