This practical Toolkit has been put together to support anyone involved in the effective leadership of primary English, across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. It asks the key questions: How effective is the teaching of English in your school? Do you feel you have the right knowledge, skills and tools to be able to support and challenge effectively? Can you see your impact on others around you? And supports you in answering them so you can: * articulate curriculum intent * develop strategies for successful implementation * measure and communicate impact The easy-to-use audits and frameworks have been tried and tested in schools, providing focused analysis, evaluation and evidencing of impact. They will support you in your role within the school improvement cycle, increase provision and outcomes for pupils, and boost your confidence in communicating progress and impact to senior leaders in your school. The toolkit can be used as a complete package or individual components can be selected and customised in Word to reflect your school’s context and priorities.
