Diversifying your classroom and school libraries to provide all students inclusive reading opportunities is vital. Diverse books can provide readers the opportunity to see characters and storylines that reflect their own lives or build empathy through being introduced to experiences and lives that are different than theirs.
We have gathered a selection of inclusive titles that offer readers characters and storylines that feature diverse representation. Below you will find picture books, novels, graphic novels and non-fiction with LGBTQ+, neurodiverse, ethnic & cultural, and disabled representation with plenty of Own Voices books.
