Your privacy
• Heath Books Ltd trading as Heath Books respect your privacy and will NOT pass on or sell to anyone else any personal details you have submitted to us.

You can read more about how we uphold your privacy in our privacy policy.
Statutory Rights
Please note, the following Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Order Information
Price and availability on our website are as accurate as possible but publishers do reserve the right to change their retail recommended price at any time. If this is the case, we will notify you.
Products are priced as per the manufacturer’s recommended retail price at the time of invoicing, less any agreed discounts or additional charges. Additional charges are made for jacketing, labelling, or servicing of books, or delivery charges if applicable.
All additional taxes and charges raised by third parties (import duties on export orders for example) shall be paid for by the customer.
An invoice via email will be sent upon dispatch of your order – unless both parties have agreed that a paper copy will accompany your delivery.
Limitations
This website must not be used for any other purpose than searching for an item or placing an order with us.
It must not be used for any transmitting of illegal or objectionable material, the breaching of any laws including copyright and unauthorised access, or disrupting the network or website, or causing interference that impacts other users.
Payment
Unlike many websites, we accept orders on account from certain educational institutions as displayed in our shipping and payment options at checkout. UK customers with a credit account are required to pay by the 30th day of the following month of invoice date.
Non-UK schools and organisations where a credit agreement has been agreed, are required to pay for all goods within 60 days of invoice date. We reserve the right to hold orders in our warehouse until payment has been made.
Payment can also be made by Credit / Debit Card – Visa and MasterCard.
For customers choosing this method (predominantly private individuals or those ordering from further afield) no goods will be transferred until paid for in full.
Cancellation
You can cancel your order, or any part of an order, at any time before it has been dispatched. To do this, please phone, e-mail or write to us.
The above does not apply to goods we have serviced, labelled, stamped, or personalised in any way.
Goods that are manufactured on demand or imported may not be cancelled.
Returns and Refunds
We count goods twice and meticulously check all orders for damages before we send them out but understand goods can be damaged in transit.
In any case, we want to make returns as easy as possible for our customers.
Damaged Goods
Should you receive damaged goods, we ask you contact us within 7 working days of receipt of goods in order that we can deal with the problem efficiently and effectively with our courier and order replacements. We may request photographs of said damages to assist with the claim.
Missing or Incorrect Goods
Please notify us within 7 working days of any problems with your delivery. We will arrange for replacement goods to be sent. We will pay for the return of incorrect books received at the fault of Heath Books. If the customer has ordered the incorrect item, you must return the goods to us at your own expense.
Unwanted Goods
Return of unwanted goods must be agreed in advance as not all books can be returned to their respective publishers. Requests to return any unwanted books must be made in writing up to 30 days from delivery date. If you would like to make a return, please send the following information to [email protected] for authorisation with the subject line: Return request.

Reason for return:
If approved, we will arrange collection of the return using our partner courier, for which we will provide a returns label. Please be aware, a minimum charge of £8.00 per box will be deducted from your credit note to cover the courier cost and return to the publisher. We reserve the right to change this at any time based on current courier costs. Charges for returns from non-mainland UK postcodes may incur a surcharge.
If you wish to use your own courier at your own expense, we do ask that you use a trackable delivery service. Heath Books takes no responsibility for any damage or loss if you have used your own courier.
Returns must be received in new, resaleable condition, and not marked in any way by the school. Please pack the books to be returned securely. The value from the original invoice will be credited, less the collection charge, to your school’s account to be used against future purchases.
If we supplied fitted plastic jackets to your order, these will not be credited. If we have serviced the books in any other way, e.g. Dewey, spine labels or stamps, then these books would not be eligible to return.
We regret we are unable to accept returns of books published by CGP Books, books that have been printed to order, or books we have imported from overseas for you.
Please be aware that many books returned to publishers are pulped, so if you think you may be able to find use for the books in a few months’ time, do ask if we can offer extended credit. We would hate for the books to be pulped unnecessarily.
International Customers
Due to the nature of overseas orders and deliveries, we appreciate the above timelines for claims may have passed. Please email Andy Ewing [email protected] to inform us of any problems with your order.
