It’s Mr Large the elephant’s birthday, and Mrs Large is planning a nice, quiet night in – a night for just the two of them. But even with the children washed and in their pyjamas before half past four, the night doesn’t unfold quite to plan! “If you are not familiar with these stories, you really have not lived … you just couldn’t get better” Guardian. A great birthday gift for Dad, this beautiful new edition of a Kate Greenaway-shortlisted story of family life in the bestselling Large series comes with a foreword and gorgeous foil on the cover and spine – a beautiful book to treasure.
