No. 1 New York Times bestselling author Veronica Roth delights Divergent fans with Four: A Divergent Collection, a companion volume gathering four pre-Divergent stories told from Tobias Eaton’s point of view. DIVERGENT, INSURGENT and ALLEGIANT were major blockbuster movies in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Readers first met Tobias Eaton as “Four” in Divergent, and his voice plays an integral role in Allegiant; here, they’ll discover even more of this charismatic character’s backstory, told entirely in his own words. The first three pieces in the collection – “The Transfer,” “The Initiate,” and “The Son” – follow Tobias’s transfer from Abnegation to Dauntless, his Dauntless initiation, and the first signs of a foul plan brewing within the leadership of two factions. The fourth story, “The Traitor,” runs alongside the events of Divergent, offering a glimpse into the decisions of loyalty – and love – Tobias makes in the weeks after meeting Tris Prior. Exclusive scenes included!
