Grandma grabbed the boy, raising him high above the rooftiles on her head, and all at once it was as if the stars leapt closer. She was alive! The boy’s grandma had been a famous architect, and her garden is still full of old building materials she left behind. Unable to accept that she’s gone, the boy builds a giant structure from the bricks and girders he finds there. And then … Grandma comes to life, whisking him away on an epic adventure across fields, through oceans, and atop rooftops. But where is she taking him? Beautiful, thrilling and deeply moving, this is the extraordinary debut picture book from much-loved author Ross Montgomery.
