An ideal first introduction to the nativity story, this beautifully illustrated board book invites young children into the magic of the very first Christmas. A long, long time ago, baby Jesus was born — and a bright new star appeared in the sky, guiding the shepherds and the three wise men towards someone very special. With no room at the inn, Mary and Joseph found warmth and shelter in the stable, where their baby slept peacefully. Colourful illustrations and engaging text bring Nazareth and Bethlehem to life, and little ones will delight in spotting details in the pictures and naming all the animals in the stable. The Christmas Story is perfect for reading aloud, whether at the festive season or any time of year.
