The Laugh Out Loud Book Awards
The Laugh Out Loud Book Awards, affectionately known as the Lollies, celebrate the most humorous children’s books in the UK and Ireland. Established in 2016 by Scholastic UK, the awards aim to highlight and promote the joy of reading through laughter. What sets the Lollies apart is that the winners are chosen by children themselves, making it a unique and engaging celebration of children’s literature.

The 2025 shortlists were announced in Spring 2025. Voting will take place during the Summer Term. The winners will be announced in the Autumn Term 2025.
