The YA Book Prize
The YA Book Prize is an annual award established in 2014 to celebrate exceptional young adult fiction authored by writers from the UK and Ireland. Organized by The Bookseller magazine in partnership with the Edinburgh International Book Festival, the prize aims to promote and recognize outstanding contributions to the young adult genre. The winner is selected by a panel comprising both expert critics and young adult readers, ensuring that the chosen book resonates with its intended audience.
The 2025 Shortlist will be announced in June, with the winner being announced in August.
