Phonics in Context: A Fun Approach to Consolidating Common Sounds: Book A
This title features: selection of photocopiable stories, with each story concentrating on a particular phonic sound group; and, stories and artwork that contain a humorous element, making them appeal to children (and teachers). It consolidates and expand pupils’ phonic and sight vocabularies. It offers ideal English language and special needs resources. It includes activities accompanying each story that include word recognition, spelling, comprehension and word study; and answers and curriculum links. Book A focuses on common two- and three-letter sounds (at, ip, eck, etc.) and selected digraphs (ee, ar, etc.). Book B also focuses on generally more difficult sounds and contains longer and more complex stories.
