The Jhalak Children’s and YA Prize 2023

The Jhalak Children’s and YA Prize was first awarded in 2020 and is sister to The Jhalak Prize which has been running since 2017. Both awards seek to celebrate and highlight books written by British or British resident authors of a BAME background. The award nominees come from a variety of genres including fiction, non-fiction, poetry and graphic novels.
